A year ago today I started blogging! I never knew that blogging my life, mainly my sewing life, would be so rewarding. I have met so many lovely people who share my passion for all things handmade. I've even made really good friends, who I hope to keep for a lifetime! So thank you all, for coming along to read my little part of the sewing blogging world.
In the interests of freeing up space for my upcoming trip to Sydney, I thought I would have a bit of a stash clean out. I have eight pieces of fabric to give away and one copy of Colette Patterns Sencha blouse. There might even be some surprises! All pieces of fabric are enough to make a garment. Some will be enough for a dress, others for a t-shirt or simple pencil skirt. One piece is an Indian tablecloth with a cool border print. Simply leave me a comment on this post or send me an email at ohsewbrunswick@gmail.com if you want to be in the draw. Any one can enter, blog or no blog, international or fellow Australian. You have one week!
Thanks again for reading and supporting my blog over the past year.
Happy 1st Birthday Sew Brunswick!!

ReplyDeleteHappy Blogversary! I was SO excited to recently stumble across your blog, and discover a blogger who not only lives in Melbourne, but is virutally a neighbour (Ok- Thornbury might not quite be neighbours with Brunswick, but close enough!) And through your blog, discovering a vibrant, social Melbourne sewing community! Happy days!
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary! I only found your blog a few months ago, and I'm loving it. It's so nice to find other Aussie blogs. I only wish I lived in Melbourne - I'm fairly sure you guys have a greater selection of dress fabric stores than we do in Sydney!
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary! I already have the sencha pattern, but count me in for the fabric giveaway! The pink and purple fabric in the centre, and black and white on the right look amazing!
ReplyDeleteHappy Blogiversary - sounds like you are clever to be clearing room in the stash before Sydney!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on one year! I am so very inspired by your blog. I already have sencha, but please count me in for the fabric! I am somewhat of a lurker, but really enjoy what you create. Yours is always one of the first blogs I click in my reader :)

ReplyDeleteCongratulations for making it a year full of sewing goodness. Love seeing what you manage to create while having little kids underfoot. I like the pattern lots :)
ReplyDeleteThrow my name into the pot. I like the look of the floral on the left and also am currently stripe obsessed. But we are similar colouring so I'm sure I'll like anything! May even get to say hi in person on sat if I get myself over to the Sydney meet up, still weighing up desire to socialise with my dislike of trekking into the city :-)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your blogiversary! I'm very impressed by how much sewing you do with two preschoolers!
ReplyDeleteHappy Blogiversary! How quickly a year flies by when you have so much sewing fun. Pop my name in the hat, as your fabric choices are always beautiful...J
