I'm slowly finding my sewing groove again but I keep getting distracted by this thing called life. I'm up to working 4 days again, Mr N started school this week, Mr Sew Brunswick is travelling and I've been consumed by picking toilets, basins, towel racks, lights, carpet and so on. Super excited about the renovation but not so excited about losing my sewing room.
This dress,
Burda 7077, has been in the to-do pile for a long time. It feels good to finally be working on it. It just needs a zip and a hem. Jobs for this afternoon while the boys watch a movie or argue over Lego.

Looks like a lovely dress.
ReplyDeleteThis is looking great. Love the combination of the two fabrics. My baby starts school tomorrow and my husband is away too. Mmm, life really takes over sometimes x
ReplyDeleteThese travelling husbands can be pesky, can't they?! Thankfully Mr N just walked in to class and said "See you later"!! Tomorrow he starts out-of-school care. Fingers crossed!! L x
DeleteOh and good luck for school!
DeleteGood luck. Finding time or your sewjo can be a killer.
ReplyDeleteI keep forgetting to take photos of those swimmers for you! Sorry. I will get there.
DeleteI like the stripes!!! Can't wait to see it on ya!
ReplyDeleteLosing your sewing room???? Yikes!
ReplyDeleteIt's hard isn't it, balancing life and sewing. My hubby is away 3 weeks out of 4 (mines) and we are renovating too. It is always a balancing act to get everything done :)
