Soon I will be turning 30 and we are having a party!! I have taken the plunge and ordered the fabric I have been swooning over for a few weeks. It is called Emerging Spots and is a navy, black & ivory Japanese cotton voile from Tessuti Fabrics.
Once again I am undecided about which pattern to use...
I originally thought the Colette Truffle dress. With a black cropped jacket, black heels and a statement necklace??
What do you think? The fabric will need lining and I will probably go with a navy lining to make it a bit darker and more suited for an evening party (not kid's birthday parties for once!).
Any other pattern suggestions? I have 3.5 meters so enough fabric to play with.

I think that fabric would look great as the Truffle. Tessuti have the most tempting fabrics don't they?
ReplyDeleteI vote for truffle too. I was in Tessuti yesterday for the first time since before xmas, and bought some fabric for a special occassion dress too. I wanted to buy the whole shop!
