I'd say I'm a firmly beginner intermediate sewer, so I was apprehensive about making pants. But they came together really nicely! I seem to be just the right shape for Colette patterns (save needing swayback and FBAs) so I was lucky and they fit pretty much out of the packet, but I have to say that I found it to be a great pattern with excellent instructions. I'm planning a couple more, since I made it in linen and it's not very seasonal for right now.

I'll be interested to see how yours turn out!Kaviarehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08409825601485451978noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5235536061632426604.post-3989583756731748742013-06-20T10:00:34.608+10:002013-06-20T10:00:34.608+10:00Vogue 8548 is one of my favourite coat pattern!! I'll be interested to see how your Juniper pants turn out.

My plans involve sewing some pants, something that is completely overwhelming to me because of fit issues. So I'm going to tackle the Minoru first, because it will be a challenge, but I think I can do it. Maybe that will give me enough confidence to tackle the pants!Meredithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09852597527730995208noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5235536061632426604.post-27199478293691420222013-06-20T08:32:03.712+10:002013-06-20T08:32:03.712+10:00Wow what grand plans! Lots of lovely things in there. Also there is a haberdashery stall in the Chapel Bazaar, right near the front counter. The stall is crammed and completely overwhelming when you first look at it, but when you stand there and just look, lots of treasures reveal themselves. And then of course Lincraft and Spotlight can surprise you (although I wouldn't be making a special trip, I'd only pop in if they were convenient).

Looking forward to viewing the makes.Fashionistahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11907455480139667042noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5235536061632426604.post-33682967956784679552013-06-20T04:52:19.076+10:002013-06-20T04:52:19.076+10:00You might just find the trim on you States trip.
